Waipa Kalo Festival 2010

Waipā Foundation, in partnership with Limahuli Garden and Preserve, will host a Kalo Festival this year, on the weekend of October 16th-17th, 2010. September Ohana Day

Next Waipa Ohana Day is scheduled for Saturday ,September 11, 2010, from 8:30 to 1:00pm. Join us for a moderate hike through the Ahupua'a. Visit our Lo'i, Mauka Reforesting Area, and much more. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes, sunscreen, and have an adequate supply of water. Bring along your own lunch for for the day. Activites include stream crossings, hiking up and down steep areas and uneven terrain. Space is very limited. Please contact…See More

We will be having a clean up day at Kuki'i (the easternmost navigational heiau in
Puna Ne'i) in preparation for the renovation. That will be on the 16 also......keep those posts coming. Was good seeing you all at the Aha'Aina Ulu....it's like a re-union now. Let Nalani know I have a kalo crepes w/ banana, strawberries and liliko'i butter sauce.......my mouth is watering. Malama A Pau, Lynda
